Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are the contract between ‘you’ as the user of this website https://feeds.gibbofgalston.co.uk and James Gibb Animal Feeds Ltd – SC109815 (‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’ etc.). Our address is Threepwood Farm, Sorn Road, Galston, KA4 8ND. We sell feeds and healthcare products, supplements and accessories for farm animals, horses, wild birds, caged birds, pigeons, poultry and pets.

By using this website you are agreeing that you will be bound by these terms and conditions. If you disagree with any of the follow, please do not continue.


Payment must be made in advance of delivery, or collection, of any goods (‘goods’ are defined by products, or items, available for sale on this website). We accept payment by the methods stated.

We do not store any card payment details on our servers. Payments are processed by Worldpay.


We are not responsible for errors or omissions, in any order, as generated by the user. We will, however, try our best to fix them if you let us know.

We will send you a confirmation email with details of your order. Please check this and contact us as soon as possible if you find any errors.

We will contact you if we are unable to fulfil any part of your order and offer you alternatives. If the alternatives offered are not acceptable to you, you may cancel part, or all, of your order.


The price is as set out in the order and does not include delivery.

We may change prices on our website at any time. If a price change increases the value of your order, we won’t despatch the goods until you have confirmed you want to buy at the new price.

If we have under priced goods in error, we will not be liable to supply those goods at the stated price, as long as we inform you in advance of dispatch.


We only delivery to certain postcode areas in Scotland. Full details of our service are available on our delivery page (link).

We cannot be financially liable for delay in delivering your order, however arising.

You will provide safe and suitable access for unloading. Risk shall pass on delivery.

We will not be liable for goods which spoil due to delays in transferring from delivery vehicle to suitable storage facilities, nor for goods that are stored in unsuitable storage facilities.

On delivery, you will examine all goods delivered and sign our delivery note. Any damages or discrepancies should be noted on the delivery note. Persons signing for delivery on your behalf shall be deemed to be responsible as your representative.

We shall have no liability for loss of, or damage to, goods that have been delivered in absence of you, or your representative.

Any damages or discrepancies detected following delivery, should be reported to us, within 2 working days from date of delivery, by phoning 01563 820233. We may ask you to provide an electronic image of any damages.

Faulty goods

We believe that all goods sold via this website are of a quality fit for the purpose they are intended for. Any defects should be reported to us as soon as possible. Please do not discard any faulty goods as they will be required for inspection and may need to be returned to the manufacturer. We will arrange to collect faulty items at no cost to you.

We will offer a replacement, exchange, or refund for faulty goods as per the Consumer Rights Acts 2015.

The liability of James Gibb Animal Feeds Ltd, will not exceed the value of the goods supplied. In particular, loss of profits and consequential, financial and other such losses are excluded.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel your order if:

– You have placed an order and we have not delivered within the agreed timescale.

– You have changed your mind within the 14 day cooling off period from the date of delivery. You must notify us within this period if you wish to cancel. All items must be in original, saleable, condition and returned to us at Gibb of Galston, Threepwood Farm, Sorn Road, Galston KA4 8ND within 14 days of you notifying us. The cost of the return of the goods will be met by you.

You will not have the right to cancel goods that are likely to deteriorate quickly, nor with a protective seal that has been broken.

Refunds for cancelled orders will be given within 14 days of us receiving returned goods and will include a refund for the cost of our basic delivery.

How to cancel an order

You can cancel your order by emailing us at orders@gibbofgalston.co.uk

Please use ‘Cancellation request’ as the title of your email and include your order number and details.

Your account

You agree that the information you provide is accurate and up to date. You will inform us of any changes to your details that we need to delivery goods ordered to you. Keep your user name and password secure.

When using this website, you agree not to use any language or images that might offend.

Any dispute will be governed by Scottish Law and the parties agree to submit to any court of competent jurisdiction within Scotland. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damage and accordingly some limitations here stated may not apply to You. Your rights are unaffected.

We can revise these Terms without notice by posting new terms on this website. Further purchase of Products after such posting constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
